The Watkins School of Dance was formed by Graham and Avril Watkins over 25 years ago in Dudley West Midlands. Both Graham and Avril have been qualified teachers since the school opened in 1979. Teaching Ballroom, Latin American, Classical (Old Time) and Sequence Dancing.

Avril and Graham are also very successful inventors of New Sequence Dances with over 40 prize winning dances. These include the very popular Heartbeat Tango, Silver Wedding Waltz, Waltz Monet, Winter Gardens Waltz and the new and very popular Birmingham Blues.
